Miss Bee already has my love of baking and cooking. Honestly, I’m pushing to cook without her insisting she joins in.
Today we’re having a small crowd over to celebrate big sister’s birthday plus daddy’s birthday so we’ll need 2 cakes. Our baking exploits are complicated by the GF factor of some guests but I’m up for that challenge and half way through making GF ANZAC biscuits as a temptation for the High Tea inspired party.
Cleaning up is always the best part…
This is the High Tea spread. It was a small gathering so I varied the offerings from healthy to sweet and all gluten free. Chocolate cake decorated by Miss Bee. Caramel butter cake, ANZAC biscuits, cheese platter with crackers, cashews and fruit kebabs with watermelon, kiwifruit, banana and strawberries. Coffee plunger, pot tea and punch.
